Terms of Service

These terms cover your use of Flotion VB (“FlotionVB”, “we”, “us”), the volleyball
stats tracker at flotionvb.com. By creating an
account or using the app you agree to them. If you don’t agree, please don’t use it.

1 · Your account
- You sign in with Google or with a one-time code sent to your email. Keep access to
that Google account or mailbox secure — whoever controls it controls your FlotionVB
account.
- You must be old enough to agree to these terms where you live, or have a parent or
guardian agree to them for you.
- One person per account. Coaches and clubs are welcome to share a device on the
bench, but you are responsible for what is done in your account.
2 · Free, Pro and Pro Unlimited
- Free: a new account can track 3 matches with every tracking and
stats feature available, and run the example questions in Ask.
- Pro: unlimited matches, and Ask with your own
questions (up to 5 a day, counted per UTC day), for A$12 per month or A$99 per
year, including GST. In the Americas Pro is offered in US dollars —
US$8 per month or US$69 per year — including any tax that applies where you
live.
- Pro Unlimited: everything in Pro, and Ask with no
daily limit, for A$15 per month or A$124 per year, including GST. In
the Americas US$10 per month or US$86 per year, including any tax that applies where
you live. The price you will pay is always shown before you pay it.
- Automatic renewal. Pro and Pro Unlimited renew at the end of each billing period —
every month, or every year on a yearly plan — on the day you subscribed, and are
charged to the card you gave at checkout until you cancel.
- Cancelling. Tap your plan on the app’s setup screen to manage
billing, where you can cancel at any time. When you cancel, your plan
keeps working to the end of the period you have paid for, and you are not charged again.
- After a subscription ends you keep every match you tracked: you can still open,
edit and export all of them, and questions you saved in Ask keep working. Only
starting new matches beyond the free allowance, and asking new questions, needs Pro
or Pro Unlimited.
- Refunds. Payments are not refunded for part of a billing period or
for a period you didn’t use, except where the law requires it or we agree to. If something
has gone wrong, email info@flotionvb.com — we would rather sort it out.
- Price changes. If the price changes we will tell you by email
before it applies to your next renewal, and you can cancel before then.
3 · Payments
Payments are handled by Stripe, which is the
reseller and merchant of record for Pro and Pro Unlimited subscriptions and collects the tax on them.
Your card details go to Stripe and are never seen or stored by FlotionVB. Stripe’s own
terms apply to the payment.
4 · Your data
- It’s yours. The matches, teams, rosters and notes you enter belong
to you. You give us permission to store, back up and display them to you, which is
the only reason we hold them. How we handle them is set out in the
Privacy Policy.
- Other people’s names. Rosters often name players, including
junior players. Only enter details you have a right to use — for a junior team, with
the club’s or a parent’s knowledge — and nothing more than the app needs: a name or
a shirt number is enough.
- Export any match, any time, from its ⋮ menu in Match History. Keeping a copy of anything
that matters to you is a good idea with any online service.
5 · Using it fairly
Don’t use FlotionVB to break the law, to store anything unrelated to tracking
volleyball, to get around the free match limit or Pro’s daily question limit, or to
interfere with the service or anyone else’s account. We may suspend or close an account that does, and will tell you
why unless the law prevents us.
6 · The service
- FlotionVB is a small, independently run app. We work to keep it available and your
data safe, but it may occasionally be unavailable, and features will change as it
develops.
- It is a tracking tool. Stats are only as accurate as what is entered, and
decisions you make from them are yours.
- An answer in Ask is worked out on your device by a calculation an
AI model writes from your question. The app shows how each answer was counted and
the calculation itself, but it can misread a question — check anything that matters
against the stat cards. A follow-up can also talk about the figures of the answer on
your screen; what it says is the AI’s reading of them, and can be wrong too.
- If we ever close the service, we will give you at least 30 days’ notice by email
so you can export your matches, and stop charging subscriptions.
7 · Australian Consumer Law
Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or changes any right or remedy you have
under the Australian Consumer Law or any other law that cannot be excluded. Where the
law allows us to limit our liability for a failure to meet a consumer guarantee, our
liability is limited to supplying the service again or paying the cost of having it
supplied again.
Otherwise, and to the extent the law allows, FlotionVB is provided “as is”, and we
are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for more than the amount you
paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
8 · Closing your account
You can stop using FlotionVB whenever you like. To delete your account and everything
in it, use Delete account in Match History’s ⋮ menu, or email
info@flotionvb.com from the address you sign in
with. A Pro or Pro Unlimited subscription is cancelled with it, at once and with no further charge — see
the Privacy Policy for what is removed.
9 · Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The date at the top shows when they last changed. For a
change that matters, we will let you know — in the app or by email — before it takes
effect. Continuing to use the app after that means you accept the new terms.
10 · Law
These terms are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia.
